Stephen Paterson is currently serving as the Vice Rector & Chief Innovation & Entrepreneurship Officer at the National University of Management in Phnom Penh. Stephen is also the Co-Founder of the Mekong Business Challenge (2006 to Present), which is an entrepreneurship program and competition involving universities from the Mekong Region and Bhutan.

Stephen has been involved in entrepreneurship education in Cambodia and the Southeast Asia region for more than 25 years. In addition to teaching and conducting professional training seminars on entrepreneurship and innovation, Stephen also serves as the Program Director for the National Business Model Competition (BMC) which is a lean startup competition in Cambodia.

Stephen is a Canadian citizen and received his Master’s Degree from the University of Toronto, and his Bachelor’s Degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
