Gidraf Wachira is the Climate Intersections Lead at NetHope. In his capacity, Gidraf has the responsibility of delivering and scaling the Climate Intersections Initiative with the goal of using data and digital technology at the nexus of Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience among vulnerable communities.
Gidraf is a digital solutions implementation expert with over 9 years’ experience in the intersection of digital solutions implementation and program management. He has piloted and implemented 3 digital solutions in Health and Agriculture and 6 African countries which have reached over 2 million users.
Prior to joining NetHope, Gidraf provided leadership in the operations and implementation of eVuna (Connected Farmer, a product of Mezzanine – member of the Vodacom Group), a farmer centric digital marketplace aimed at linking farmers to needed services and products to increase their productivity.
Gidraf is an alumnus of Makerere University, Uganda and the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI).
