Mr. Alex Högback works as Project Manager in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, in Bangkok, Thailand. He leads a regional artificial intelligence (AI) project in Southeast Asia, and supports the development of AI policies, standards, and frameworks that mainstream gender equality and social inclusion, harnessing the power of AI for good while mitigating its many risks.
Prior to joining ITU, Mr. Högback worked in Geneva, Switzerland to advance human rights in the information and communication technology sector globally.
Mr. Högback holds five degrees, including an MA in International Law, an MSc in Economics, and an MNA in Nonprofit Management.
